Job description
Role Overview
The Data Labelling Engineer position involves maintaining and enhancing data classification standards and taxonomies. The engineer will be responsible for thoroughly analyzing and accurately labeling data samples to ensure high precision and recall in datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support established data classification frameworks and taxonomies.
- Examine and annotate data samples with accuracy to ensure reliable labeling quality.
- Partner with research and development teams to refine and enhance algorithm performance, including evaluating incorrectly labeled data (bad cases) and providing constructive suggestions for improvement.
- Gain a deep understanding of data flows between business units to improve labeling standards and expand the sample database.
- Optimize annotation procedures by improving workflows, sampling methods, and review processes to increase efficiency and quality.
