Data Entry Clerk - Inventory

Job Overview

The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for the precise and consistent entry, updating, and maintenance of inventory data for International Diamond Center. This critical role ensures accurate tracking of merchandise such as fine jewelry, gemstones, watches, and accessories within the inventory management system. The position is vital for supporting daily operations through validation of product specifics, prices, SKU numbers, barcodes, and stock quantities, maintaining meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality throughout.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive inventory items accurately and assign their inventory numbers within the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Provide support with the Special Order process.
• Assist with Shipping and Receiving duties as required.
• Collaborate with Inventory Specialists and contribute to various projects when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Possession of a High School Diploma or an equivalent credential.
• No previous experience is mandatory as this entry-level role includes training.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel and data entry practices is advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Effective communication skills.
• Capability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

Working Environment
