This position demands hands-on involvement in metric definitions and decision flows, staying closely connected with both the team and stakeholders through the delivery process. As part of a Scrum team, you will help ensure the solutions delivered provide logical coherence and tangible business value.
Project Context
The project represents a sophisticated people analytics platform that empowers senior management, resource managers, and business partners with deep insights about their teams to facilitate informed decision-making. Remote work is supported anywhere in Georgia, including work from home, offices in Tbilisi and Batumi, or coworking spaces in Kutaisi.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the analytics product backlog by converting business challenges into specific backlog items for Demand Analytics initiatives, writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and monitoring delivery to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Define the business context and logic of each metric, detailing their meanings, calculations, applicable business rules, users, and decision support roles; coordinate with stakeholders and teams to resolve edge cases.
- Develop strong partnerships with WPM leaders, Staffing Partners, and internal stakeholders to clarify needs, refine requests, and transform business inquiries into practical analytical solutions.
- Collaborate daily with Data Product Analysts, BI Developers, and Engineers to design, validate, and adapt solutions during the development cycle.
- Lead initiatives to promote product adoption through training, communication, and change management strategies.
- Promote a unified data-product approach ensuring consistent metric and semantic definitions for reuse across all consumption channels, emphasizing product over report generation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hands-on product ownership including backlog prioritization, user story creation, acceptance criteria development, and working closely with cross-functional Agile or Scrum teams in data analytics contexts.
- Expertise in defining business KPIs and translating them into precise calculation methodologies, decision-making rules, and validated requirements, comfortable engaging with both senior leadership and technical teams on definitions and edge cases.
- Experience driving data analytics projects by converting business questions into analytic requirements and collaborating effectively with technical teams to deliver actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of presenting to senior stakeholders and mediating between business and technical perspectives.
- Strong collaboration ability, working hand-in-hand with analysts, BI developers, and engineers through discovery to release stages.
- Familiarity with BI and analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau that facilitates meaningful dialogue on dashboard design, UX, and reporting expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth domain expertise in Staffing and WPM, understanding key staffing metrics, resource management processes, and daily WPM leadership decisions.
- Experience in requirements engineering translating business needs into technical specifications concerning data freshness, granularity, and semantics.
- Change management experience including tool adoption, process implementation, training, and communication planning.
Benefits and Work Culture
