Data Analyst - Pricing Implementation

Role Overview

We are looking for a Pricing Implementation Analyst to join our Pricing team within the Lending Organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence SoFi's revenue by collaborating with business leaders and data science experts to implement, monitor, and enhance pricing controls and strategies across consumer lending products.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert high-level pricing strategies into actionable, detailed steps ensuring system specifications are thorough and consistent.
• Maintain comprehensive audit trails and uphold governance standards, managing processes via tools like Jira and GitLab.
• Partner with Engineering teams to address and resolve system challenges, guarantee successful pricing deployments, and continuously monitor data pipelines to confirm proper pricing strategy operation.
• Create and upkeep automated validation functions to assure accurate pricing implementation across multiple products.
• Develop and manage controls such as automated validation alerts and anomaly detection dashboards using Tableau to improve process integrity.
• Identify enhancements to increase operational efficiency and mature control processes.
• Support risk management efforts and new product launches through scripting, documentation, reporting, and ad hoc analysis.
• Coordinate with external affiliates to assure seamless price execution across partner platforms.
• Act as a liaison for pricing implementation with internal stakeholders, supporting tech projects, operational tasks, and risk oversight.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a comparable quantitative discipline.
• At least four years of relevant experience in financial services focusing on pricing, data analysis, or risk governance.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL programming, alongside expertise in creating production-grade dashboards using Tableau.
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong communication abilities, with the skill to simplify complex models for diverse audiences.
• Collaborative mindset comfortable working in dynamic, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake data warehousing and GitLab version control systems.
• Previous collaboration with product management or engineering departments.
• Background in pricing methodology, risk management, or data governance frameworks.
