Customer Service Manager

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain safe work procedures and emergency protocols, including proper lifting methods, area cleanliness, emergency evacuations, register shutdowns, emergency codes, and theft prevention.
• Address concerns raised by customers and store associates, offering necessary guidance and resolutions.
• Supervise front end associates by managing adequate staffing levels, coordinating breaks, and supporting registers that require additional assistance.
• Provide training on company systems and procedures covering scanning accuracy, productivity measures, company initiatives, discount policies, Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) systems, and safety standards.
• Oversee transactions related to purchases, returns, and exchanges; rectify errors by approving and verifying processes in accordance with company rules.
• Ensure proper functioning of all EAS devices, including cashier deactivation procedures and greeter issue handling, while maintaining logs for failures to deactivate.
• Prepare cash registers for daily opening and closing; assist cashiers by managing cash change availability, maintain appropriate cash levels, and conduct audits to confirm register accuracy.
• Promote and manage company-sponsored programs and initiatives such as credit card services, Walmart protection plans, charity drives, and discount schemes.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $18.80.
