About the Role
Join the Finance Operations team at NZ Post, located in Wellington Central, which encompasses Customer Billing, Credit Control, and Accounts Payable & Purchasing. This dynamic group ensures efficient and cost-effective billing, invoicing, and payment support for both internal and external customers.
In your role as Customer Billing Specialist, you will manage customer billing processes, address queries and adjustments promptly and accurately, and ensure customers receive their billing statements on time to facilitate quick payment. Your efforts will help create a seamless and positive experience for all stakeholders.
You will also have the chance to contribute to process improvements and participate in projects enhancing billing accuracy and efficiency. Collaboration within the wider Group Finance team is essential, and flexibility to assist with other team duties may be required. Close cooperation with the Credit Control team is fundamental to meeting core objectives.
About You
You bring a passion for exceptional customer service, demonstrating strong communication skills and a meticulous eye for detail. While experience in Accounts Receivable or Customer Billing is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
Additional qualities include:
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Capability to work effectively under deadlines and pressure
- A proactive attitude and quick adaptability to new tasks and systems
