Primary Responsibilities
- Lead credit risk modelling and prudential regulation projects from planning through delivery.
- Offer specialist guidance on credit risk modelling and analytics to clients.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, enhancing team skills and professional growth.
- Identify and cultivate new business prospects while strengthening client partnerships.
- Collaborate with Deloitte’s European and global financial risk networks to design innovative solutions.
- Engage actively with the local financial services sector to broaden professional connections.
- Create thought leadership content on financial risk and regulatory topics.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to audiences with varying expertise.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in credit risk modelling, including design and/or validation, particularly with IRB or IFRS9 methodologies.
- A minimum 2.1 Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or finance disciplines.
- Strong proficiency in modeling software such as SAS, SQL, Python, or R.
- Proven capability to manage comprehensive model development or validation projects, including coordination and client communication.
