About PATHOS and Role Overview
PATHOS is a full-service marketing agency located in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida, focusing on brand development and growth across both physical and digital channels. The agency offers a comprehensive range of advisory, creative, web, video, and media services to clients ranging from local startups to national organizations, leveraging top-tier talent and technology to amplify brand presence.
The Creative Multimedia Specialist is a dynamic role that integrates skills in photography, videography, graphic design, motion graphics, and digital content creation. This position bridges creative production with design execution, converting ideas into compelling visual narratives across digital, print, social media, and experiential environments. Reporting to the Head of Branding + Creative, this specialist supports clients throughout project lifecycles, from initial concept to final delivery, requiring creativity, technical versatility, collaboration, and a drive for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture and produce high-quality videos for brand campaigns, interviews, events, testimonials, social media, and promotional use.
- Plan and conduct video productions, including camera operation, lighting setup, sound capture, and on-location coordination.
- Edit videos with techniques such as color grading, audio enhancement, motion graphics integration, captioning, and tailoring content for various platforms.
- Create both short- and long-form video content for websites, social channels, digital ads, email campaigns, and presentations.
- Take photographs as required to support marketing efforts, events, and campaigns.
- Design digital assets for websites, social media, ads, email marketing, presentations, signage, and print materials.
- Generate graphics and layout designs to complement integrated marketing and video content.
- Develop website mockups, wireframes, and interface concepts utilizing Figma.
- Optimize assets to suit different platforms while ensuring brand consistency.
- Collaborate effectively with creative, strategic, account management, and digital teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining organization, high quality, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Engage in brainstorming sessions, production planning, client discussions, and creative reviews.
- Maintain organization of project files, creative assets, and production equipment.
- Keep updated with evolving creative technologies, AI tools, and industry trends.
- Participate in company trainings, agency events, and community initiatives.
- Assume additional duties as needed aligning with agency growth and client requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated creative storytelling ability with a keen eye for composition, design aesthetics, and visual communication.
- Strong enthusiasm for video production, editing, and digital content creation.
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with the capability to manage multiple projects under deadlines.
- Collaborative and reliable professional comfortable working in a busy agency environment.
- Effective communication skills, positive attitude, and a commitment to ongoing learning.
- Self-driven, inquisitive, and eager to explore and implement new creative technologies and AI innovations.
- Preferred educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Film Production, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines.
- Three to five years of professional experience in videography, multimedia production, graphic design, or similar creative roles.
- A robust portfolio showcasing expertise in video production, post-production editing, and multi-platform digital design.
- Experience creating content for websites, social media, digital advertising, email campaigns, and integrated marketing efforts.
- Professional photography skills are advantageous.
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong skills in videography, video editing and post-production, motion graphics, and professional photography.
- Operational knowledge of camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Experience with Figma and Canva for design and interface work.
- Familiarity with file and asset management practices.
- Preferred skills include Adobe InDesign and Audition, 3D software like Cinema 4D or Blender, drone videography (FAA Part 107 certification beneficial), social media management tools like Meta Business Suite, email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or Constant Contact, basic HTML & CSS knowledge, WordPress or other CMS experience, and AI creative tools including Claude Design, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Runway.
