Cost Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Cost Specialist (m/f/d) focused on digital construction planning, based in Berlin, with possible locations also in Düsseldorf and Munich, offering hybrid working arrangements. Join our client, a pioneering company leading digital transformation in the construction sector, to precisely model construction costs utilizing digital tools, 3D models, and BIM technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop model-based cost estimates for complex building construction projects, specifically for cost group 300 (shell construction).
• Contribute actively in competitions, client acquisition efforts, and early phases of projects.
• Collaborate closely with project teams from conceptualization through execution stages.
• Perform technical coordination and consolidate cost bases effectively.
• Maintain and update internal databases to establish cost benchmarks.

Candidate Profile

• Educational background in civil engineering, architecture, or related fields.
• Several years of experience in construction cost estimation following DIN 276 standards.
• Familiarity with relevant standards such as VOB, VHB, and procurement guidelines.
• Proficiency with AVA software tools, preferably RIB iTWO including 2D/3D capabilities.
• Basic knowledge of BIM and Revit is advantageous.
• Well-organized, digitally savvy, with excellent command of the German language.
