Role Overview
We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to be an integral part of our Compliance team. The primary focus of this position is to ensure strict adherence to RBI regulations, internal governance policies, and regulatory standards. This role acts as a key coordinator within the Compliance Department responsible for compliance reviews, monitoring regulatory updates, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining compliance documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Scrutinize RBI circulars, notifications, master directions, and other regulatory updates; support the assessment of regulatory impacts and track implementation progress.
- Participate in periodic compliance reviews and thematic audits based on the Compliance Monitoring Plan; test regulatory controls and identify any compliance gaps.
- Assist in preparing regulatory filings, internal compliance reports, and updates for Board or Committees, ensuring all compliance records are prepared for audit scrutiny.
- Coordinate with various business and support teams to acquire compliance confirmations, follow up on outstanding compliance issues, and serve as the Compliance point of contact for designated business functions.
- Manage the annual reviews related to outsourcing, monitor vendor compliance submissions, and escalate any deficiencies or non-compliance issues to senior management.
- Provide support during RBI inspections, internal and statutory audits, and specialized assessments; coordinate timely responses and oversee closure of identified observations.
Typical Daily Activities
Begin by reviewing recent RBI circulars and updates to evaluate their applicability to Amazon's operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams from business, operations, risk, technology, and finance to implement regulatory requirements and ensure timely resolution of compliance tasks. Conduct compliance testing, draft management reporting, maintain governance documentation, and balance varied responsibilities in a dynamic work environment.

The Compliance team oversees regulatory governance, risk mitigation, and operational assurance through a robust maker-checker-approver framework. This ensures that all deliverables are accurate, timely, and audit-ready. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management roles
Preferred Experience
- 6 or more years in compliance, auditing, or risk management
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-technology environment or ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while meeting deadlines
