Role Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of commercial, financial, and contractual management pre- and post-contract, ensuring strategies align with corporate goals, main contracts, and joint venture agreements.
• Manage and negotiate complex contract variations, extension of time claims, and sizable commercial claims effectively.
• Advise the Project Director and senior leaders on strategic, financial, and contractual risks, providing frameworks for mitigation.
• Oversee dispute resolution processes collaboratively with legal and executive teams to minimize commercial risk.
• Supervise review and approval procedures for monthly progress payments, final accounts, and contract close-outs on major projects.
• Implement and maintain comprehensive corporate contract and commercial management systems to protect company interests.
• Mentor and lead a team of quantity surveyors, contract administrators, commercial managers, and cost experts to high performance.

Qualification Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Civil Engineering, Commerce, or Construction Management.
• At least 20 years of post-qualification experience in contract administration and commercial leadership on international large-scale projects.

Preferred Experience and Skills

• Experience working on NEOM or other Public Investment Fund giga-projects in Saudi Arabia or the Gulf Cooperation Council region is highly favored.
• Technical mastery of international standard contracts, notably FIDIC Blue, Red, and Yellow Books, Saudi procurement regulations, and claims analysis techniques.
• Fluency in English, with Arabic language skills considered advantageous.
• Strong negotiation expertise, executive leadership capabilities, and analytical skills to engage with senior clients and executives effectively.
