Role overview

A & ONE Precision Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a CNC Machinist for its Tuas site in Singapore. The role centers on converting engineering drawings into accurately machined components, handling machine programming, setting up equipment, and ensuring parts meet the required specifications.

Core duties

• Read and understand technical drawings, then carry out the machining steps needed to create the finished workpiece.
• Write and modify machine code for CNC operations.
• Set up machines, load parts, and manufacture components according to drawing requirements.
• Support machine operators and machinists by giving clear basic operating guidance.
• Create straightforward jigs and fixtures to support machining activities when necessary.
• Investigate dimensional mismatches, determine the cause, and implement corrective measures.

Requirements

• A qualification such as NTC or a diploma in Precision Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
• Applicants without a technical background should have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and practical knowledge of machining processes is required.
