Clinical Research Associate - Entry Level (Home-Based)

About the Role

Medpace seeks an entry-level Clinical Research Associate to perform essential monitoring duties at clinical research sites. The role offers flexible work conditions, including the possibility of working from home and flexible hours, with no fixed minimum onsite days required each month.

Responsibilities

• Conducting qualification, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits at clinical research sites in strict compliance with approved protocols.
• Interacting and communicating effectively with site personnel, including coordinators, physicians, and other clinical staff.
• Ensuring investigators have appropriate qualifications, training, resources, and that necessary facilities and equipment are available.
• Reviewing medical records and source documents to confirm accurate case report form data, informing site staff of any discrepancies, enforcing good documentation practices, and managing protocol deviations according to SOPs, GCP, and regulatory guidelines.
• Verifying that only eligible subjects are enrolled in clinical trials.
• Reviewing regulatory documents, investigational product accountability, and inventory management.
• Evaluating adverse events, serious adverse events, medications, and illnesses to ensure precise data reporting in accordance with the protocol.
• Assessing each site's patient recruitment and retention performance and suggesting improvements.
• Completing detailed monitoring reports and follow-up communications summarizing key findings, deviations, deficiencies, and recommended compliance measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related or scientific discipline.
• Familiarity with clinical monitoring methodologies and procedures to confidently represent this function in both internal and external meetings.
