Role Overview

Join Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust as a Cleaner at Victoria Hospital in Wimborne. This position involves 14 hours of work per week focused on maintaining the highest cleanliness standards in clinical zones of the main hospital, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough cleaning including vacuuming, mopping, damp dusting, toilet sanitation, and bin emptying.
• Operate mechanical floor cleaning equipment effectively.
• Support the Facilities Manager in upholding the Trust's cleanliness standards.
• Work cooperatively as part of the team with a flexible, communicative, and proactive approach.
• Opportunity to work additional hours to cover staff absences and holidays.

Requirements and Conditions

• On-site training and provision of personal protective equipment (PPE) are provided.
• Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check required, funded by the Trust.
• Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship.
