Job Overview

This role is a remote, on-call cleaning position based in King City, Ontario, Canada. Candidates must reside within the local area and be able to attend onsite meetings, training, or company events if requested. The role involves supporting a broad range of residential cleaning tasks across Ontario, including move-out, turnover, post-maintenance, and housekeeping services.

Responsibilities

• Perform move-out cleaning for residential rental properties.
• Conduct vacant-unit turnover cleaning.
• Carry out deep cleaning following maintenance, repairs, or renovations.
• Prepare homes prior to new resident occupancy.
• Provide housekeeping services for occupied homes when scheduled.
• Clean various areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, and common areas.
• Clean inside appliances, cabinets, closets, baseboards, windowsills, and other detailed spots.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and remove debris effectively.
• Complete a quality walkthrough before finishing assignments.
• Take photos to document job completion as needed.
• Report any damage, maintenance issues, or cleaning problems requiring follow-up.
• Update assignments using the company’s mobile work application.
• Travel directly between scheduled properties independently.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of two years of paid professional cleaning experience.
• Ability to execute residential cleaning tasks independently.
• Experience with move-out, turnover, deep cleaning, or housekeeping services.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent high-quality workmanship.
• Capability to notify appropriate parties of maintenance or cleaning issues instead of ignoring them.
• Professional communication skills with customers and operations staff.
• Access to a reliable vehicle and personal cleaning equipment and supplies.
• A smartphone functioning with GPS, mobile apps, photography, and job update features.
• Basic English language skills for communication.
• Dependable attendance and organized work habits.

Preferred Experience

• Work in residential turnover cleaning or property turnover preparation.
• Experience in post-maintenance or renovation cleaning.
• Familiarity with apartment and condominium cleaning environments.
• Experience in move-in and move-out cleaning assignments.
• Background in high-volume residential cleaning settings.
