Role Summary

We are seeking a dependable Class 5 Swinglift Driver to join Mondiale’s team in Christchurch. The driver will be crucial in ensuring timely, safe deliveries while maintaining the vehicle’s condition and adhering to company standards and legal requirements. Exceptional communication and professionalism are essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily scheduled deliveries and pickups according to dispatch instructions.
• Complete thorough pre-shift vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical or equipment concerns promptly.
• Maintain consistent and accurate communication with dispatch following each delivery.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and company policies during deliveries.
• Keep vehicles clean, properly maintained, and in safe, roadworthy condition.
• Fill out regular truck checklists and contribute to driver training efforts as needed.
• Immediately report any damage or problems encountered during deliveries.

Health and Safety Responsibilities

• Comply with all organisational and site-specific health and safety procedures.
• Take personal responsibility for your safety and that of colleagues.
• Report incidents, near misses, and hazards without delay.
• Follow transport regulations and company safety policies consistently.
• Help foster an active culture of safety within the team.
