Job description
About Car Call
Car Call specializes in delivering extensive post-accident assistance to drivers involved in non-fault incidents. The service alleviates the burdens and stress linked with collisions by ensuring customers incur no excess charges and that their no-claims bonus remains unaffected since claims are processed outside their insurer. Customers can access free legal advice related to any pain or injuries, including assistance recovering out-of-pocket and medical expenses. Additionally, Car Call organizes vehicle collection, provides equivalent replacement vehicles, and coordinates repairs through approved centers to restore vehicles to a "good as new" condition. Throughout the entire process, knowledgeable claims management experts keep clients updated to minimize the negative effects of accidents.
Role Overview
The Claims Handler role is a full-time position based in the Greater Cheshire West area with a hybrid work format offering some home office flexibility. The incumbent will manage non-fault motor claims from initial loss notification through to case resolution, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and compassionate customer journey. Key duties include reviewing claim information, communicating with drivers, insurers, repair facilities, and legal representatives, and maintaining precise records in company systems. The role involves coordinating vehicle pick-up and replacement, tracking repair progress, and regularly updating customers at critical milestones. The Claims Handler is also responsible for spotting potential cost recoveries and adhering to company policies and industry regulations.
