Job Overview and Responsibilities
The Civil Engineer will oversee and manage daily civil construction operations ensuring all activities align with approved drawings, specifications, and quality criteria. Coordination with contractors, vendors, and internal teams is essential to ensure timely project completion. The role involves continuous monitoring of progress, preparation of daily reports, inspection of construction quality, and enforcement of safety standards. Responsibilities also include quantifying completed work, validating contractor invoices, planning material needs and site resources, troubleshooting on-site technical challenges, and maintaining thorough project documentation to ensure projects remain within set timelines and budgets.
Required Competencies
- Fundamental understanding of construction practices and site execution processes.
- Capability to interpret civil engineering drawings and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and coordination skills with effective communication and reporting abilities.
- Readiness to travel to project locations as necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Recent graduates with solid technical knowledge are invited to apply.
- Applicants possessing up to three years of experience in site execution will be favored.
