Chief Operating Officer

About the role

Lyoko is hiring a Chief Operating Officer to oversee day-to-day business execution, strengthen internal management, and help drive long-term growth. The position partners closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership to deliver disciplined execution, efficient operations, and smooth coordination across functions.

Role responsibilities

• Direct everyday operations and ensure the business runs effectively across all core areas.
• Lead teams handling operations, finance, compliance, technology, HR, and business support.
• Refine internal workflows, standard operating procedures, systems, and overall efficiency.
• Establish and strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance practices.
• Contribute to strategic planning, business expansion, and market growth initiatives.
• Guide senior leaders and improve collaboration between departments.
• Track budgets, KPIs, performance goals, and operating outcomes.
• Share important operational updates and business issues with the CEO and Board of Directors.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 20 years of experience in management or executive leadership is required.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, banking, investment, digital assets, technology, or similar sectors is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior teams and complex business operations.
• Strong capabilities in leadership, execution, communication, and decision-making.
• Background in operations management, risk oversight, compliance, and business scaling.
• Ability to improve organizational design, internal processes, and operational performance.

Preferred background

• Prior experience serving as a COO, President of Operations, Managing Director, VP of Operations, or in another senior executive capacity is preferred.
• Experience creating operating systems, growing teams, or entering new markets is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of financial operations, compliance processes, and corporate governance is preferred.
• International business management experience is also preferred.
