About the Opportunity

Our client is a prominent company within the real estate sector, currently searching for a Chief Financial Officer who can function as a strategic ally to ownership and a key consultant to executive leadership. This influential role will drive the financial, capital, and risk management strategies of the organization, while helping to define its long-term trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise senior leadership on major financial and commercial decisions.
• Contribute to the assessment of investments and the organization's approach to capital distribution.
• Shape the company's overall capital strategy, leading finance sourcing, managing relationships with investors, and structuring partnerships.
• Supervise treasury functions, liquidity management, and capital structuring activities.
• Steer financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and internal auditing processes.
• Offer financial oversight across core business functions.
• Collaborate with external consultants to manage tax planning, HR initiatives, and risk mitigation strategies including insurance.
• Drive the integration of technology and automation to modernize financial operations.
• Recruit, mentor, and supervise a performance-driven finance team.

Requirements

• Significant experience in real estate finance, with a demonstrated history in a CFO or other senior financial leadership role.
• Proven ability to enhance and upgrade financial systems and reporting capabilities within organizations experiencing growth.
• CPA or MBA credentials are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong commercial acumen combined with advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
• Collaborative leadership style that thrives in team environments.
• Ability and willingness to work onsite in the Denver office five days per week.

Compensation & Additional Information

• Annual base salary ranges from $250,000 to $375,000, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses.
