Role Overview
The Chief Commercial Officer will be a pivotal executive team member driving North American revenue growth through strategic leadership and hands-on market engagement. This commercially-focused leader will spearhead global platform deals, expand strategic accounts, and shape revenue strategies within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment, balancing tactical market involvement with high-level strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and achieve global bookings, ARR, and revenue growth objectives.
- Lead strategic sales targeting leading global pharma and medtech firms, closing large, multi-year enterprise agreements.
- Develop and implement global account strategies, pursuing land-and-expand opportunities and cultivating C-level relationships primarily in North America.
- Apply regulatory knowledge (GxP, GPvP, FDA, EMA, HIPAA, GDPR) to ensure compliant commercial strategies and position expansion aligned with RxPx’s regulatory-grade platform.
- Incorporate patient journey insights into commercial approaches, facilitating continuous market feedback loops among customers, product, and engineering teams.
- Drive value-based selling using real-world evidence (RWE) and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) frameworks, interfacing with data teams on customer and market insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in product, medical, marketing, and customer success, coordinating go-to-market strategies and supporting executive initiatives in network growth and thought leadership.
- Build, mentor, and lead enterprise sales teams, enforcing pipeline discipline and transparent forecasting with OKRs, adopting a hands-on leadership style.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related fields; MBA preferred.
- Over 20 years of experience leading enterprise sales organizations at senior executive levels such as VP, SVP, CRO, or CCO.
- Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical market dynamics and regulatory environments, demonstrated success in sales and business development.
- Strong negotiation skills and proven partnership development capabilities.
- Technical competence with presentation tools, dashboards, and CRM systems.
- Extensive connections within the North American life sciences sector.
- Proven experience in building high-performing teams, fostering talent, and driving cultural evolution in scaling companies.
- Familiarity with healthcare AI, predictive analytics, or data-driven healthcare platforms.
- Existing executive contacts in pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotech, health systems, specialty pharmacies, and payers.
- Experience thriving within private equity-backed or rapidly growing environments.

Location: Remote in North America, with travel to cities such as New Jersey, Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal, and Toronto.
Salary: USD 200000 to 320000 annually.
