Case Manager (IL/OH)

Role Overview

This position centers on keeping pre-litigation matters moving efficiently and in full. The Case Manager will handle the operational side of personal injury files, including opening claims, coordinating medical record requests, obtaining police reports, and clearing lien-related issues so attorneys have accurate and timely case materials.

The role is focused on personal injury matters in Illinois and Ohio, so direct experience with personal injury cases in one or both of these states is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate insurance claims and maintain ongoing communication with carriers.
• Request, monitor, and follow up on medical records and police documentation.
• Track lien and subrogation matters and work toward timely resolution.
• Work alongside lead paralegals to get cases ready for demand preparation.
• Spot operational slowdowns and help correct process issues.

You will join the Legal Operations team, which supports law firm partners and their injured clients by delivering results with accuracy, speed, and care. Finch is building a team of highly experienced legal operators and pairing that expertise with modern technology to help serve more people with greater humanity.

Eligibility and Experience

Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience in legal operations, case management, or claims handling. Prior work on personal injury cases in Illinois or Ohio is necessary. Spanish/English bilingual ability is preferred, though not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $85,000 per year, plus equity.
