CAD Drafter

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled CAD Drafter to become an integral part of our drafting team, focused on transforming custom hospitality design ideas into precise, detailed technical drawings. This position requires proficiency in CAD tools, meticulous attention to detail, strict adherence to drafting standards, and effective team collaboration. While knowledge of furniture assembly is beneficial, it is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Use CAD software to generate exact factory drawings based on design inputs.
• Ensure all drawings comply with our company's drafting guidelines, industry standards, and relevant regulations.
• Manage document control processes, including versioning and archiving of CAD files.
• Produce new drawings and revise existing ones to incorporate client and internal feedback.
• Continuously adapt and update skills as departmental drawing standards evolve.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently without supervision.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven track record working independently.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated background as a CAD Operator or a similar role within manufacturing or engineering.
• Expertise in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, including firm knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modeling principles.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational aptitude, and accuracy in drawing production.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
