Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

The Buyer will be responsible for procurement activities related to Turnaround Projects, working closely with central Procurement and Singapore-based departments. This role involves sourcing services and materials, managing procurement processes from supplier identification to order placement and material receipt, and leading commercial negotiations with vendors. Expediting critical orders and maintaining a preferred supplier list, including negotiating framework agreements, are crucial tasks. Additionally, the Buyer must optimize the vendor base while targeting cost optimization and value-adding opportunities.

Purchasing System and Process Improvement

The position requires managing daily procurement operations using Bio+ and SAP platforms, ensuring all tasks are executed timely and accurately. The Buyer is also expected to identify and implement continuous process improvements within procurement functions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a Diploma or Degree in supply chain management or related field/certifications.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with SAP.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery sectors is advantageous.
