Job Opportunity
Become a part of LG's Home Appliance Planning Team as a Business Analyst, with responsibilities focusing on financial and key performance indicator (KPI) planning, along with performance management. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders such as Sales, Product Management, Business Managers, and HQ teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and execute the business's vision, strategic plans, and long-term priorities
- Manage departmental financial goals by analyzing sales, profits, and market trends to recommend strategies maximizing growth and minimizing risks
- Formulate annual financial and KPI plans for sales personnel integrating strategic directives with grassroots inputs
- Conduct objective performance evaluations of sales staff through KPI development and measurement processes
- Prepare monthly KPI reports, ad hoc analyses, and communicate findings to leadership and relevant teams
- Engage in business process improvements and specialized projects to enhance operational efficiency
- Maintain and manage the sales database ensuring data accuracy
- Analyze project outcomes to promote a culture of continuous improvement
- Monitor key sales KPIs to assess performance against targets and identify operational gaps
- Deliver actionable insights aimed at boosting sales performance and profitability
- Support quarterly and annual reviews by consolidating performance data and highlighting critical issues and opportunities
- Collaborate with Sales, Planning, and Finance departments to align on data tracking and reporting standards
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Planning, or a related discipline
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in fast-paced planning, project management, or similar roles preferred
- Proven background in developing business plans, executing analyses, and formulating strategic business approaches
- Strong ability to build effective relationships with business stakeholders
- Capable of extracting and summarizing large datasets into meaningful trends
- Skilled in synthesizing data into actionable recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
- Familiarity with OLAP or database management is advantageous
- Fluency in reading and writing Korean along with English (bilingual requirement)
Compensation and Benefits
Salary range for this position is $72,000 to $87,000 USD annually.
