Role Overview

We seek a Business Analyst to integrate with our Operations team, focusing primarily on Manufacturing and Quality. This position bridges operational workflows and data analytics, helping to establish quality measurement capabilities throughout the product lifecycle—from manufacturing stages through field performance analysis. The analyst will manage quality metrics, design new reporting solutions, develop analytic tools, and collaborate closely with manufacturing and field quality engineers to convert operational data into actionable business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Field Quality, Manufacturing, and Reliability Engineering teams to establish and track product quality KPIs across the supply chain
• Take ownership of quality reporting covering production yields, field failure statistics, and supplier quality metrics to identify trends impacting product build and performance
• Create and sustain reporting dashboards and self-service analytic tools for operational stakeholders
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to validate test results, contain issues, size impact, investigate failure modes, and quantify costs
• Work with Data Platform and Analytics Engineering teams to integrate quality data sources into Snowflake and transform them into actionable models
• Define standards for capturing data in new processes such as incoming inspections, new product introduction (NPI) qualifications, and supplier information where structured data is currently missing
• Serve as a liaison translating detailed technical data requirements into clear outputs for operational teams without demanding technical proficiency

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in analytical or operational roles emphasizing data analysis, with additional experience in quality processes considered advantageous
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and leverage data to drive initiatives and achieve results
• Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data visualization tools like Sigma or Hex; knowledge of modern data warehouses such as Snowflake and analytics workflows including dbt or ELT is a plus
• Enthusiastic adoption of AI tools in daily workflows, ensuring AI-supported work maintains high-quality standards equivalent to personal contributions
• Capability to simplify complex analyses into practical and clear recommendations that empower both technical and operational teams to make informed decisions and improve outcomes
• Adeptness at functioning in dynamic environments where processes, systems, and data architectures are continuously evolving
• Proactive approach with a keen desire to comprehensively understand and improve operational procedures through data insights

Additional Details

This position is location-specific, requiring the candidate to work from our Boston, MA office. Relocation support may be necessary for candidates outside the area.

Compensation and Benefits

WHOOP offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $125,000 USD annually, factoring in role level, location, skills, experience, and education. Alongside base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package and a significant equity stake, aligning individual success with corporate growth.
