Business Analyst

About the Role

This position involves translating business challenges into data-oriented problems to uncover actionable insights. The focus is on analyzing both structured and unstructured data effectively and leveraging various data sources.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify business challenges and reframe them as data problems to seek relevant solutions.
• Pose the right questions to guide data investigation efforts.
• Draw insights by working with multiple data sources and managing diverse data formats, including bureau data.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and business intelligence solutions using tools such as SQL, Power BI, advanced Excel, R, Python, and DataBrics.
• Interpret data logically to support decision-making processes.
• Build comprehensive understanding of business drivers and how data impacts decision-making and behavior.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams like Policy, Credit, Collections, Operations, and Product to align data insights with business needs.
• Communicate analytical models and findings effectively to management.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong aptitude for working with bureau data.
• Proficient in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX).
• Experience building BI dashboards using SQL, Power BI, advanced Excel, R, Python, or DataBrics.
• Excellent logical reasoning and data interpretation capabilities.
• Capability to handle diverse data sets including both structured and unstructured formats.
