BIM Coordinator

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to oversee and synchronize Building Information Modeling activities, including 3D surface modeling and management of technical spatial data for extensive Infrastructure and Mass Earthworks projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, oversee, and update 3D/4D BIM models related to site grading, excavation profiles, mass earthworks, and infrastructure utility layouts.
• Perform clash detection and spatial coordination ensuring alignment between civil earthworks and subsurface utility systems.
• Work closely with engineers, surveyors, and design consultants to generate precise quantities, cross-sections, and construction drawings derived from BIM models.
• Ensure adherence to Project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), ISO 19650 standards, and client-specific modeling protocols.
• Administer Common Data Environments (CDE) maintaining structured control over model versions and related documentation.

Required Qualifications and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, Navisworks Manage, Revit, and BIM 360/ACC platforms.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and the implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Professional certifications in Civil 3D or BIM Management are advantageous.
• 4 to 6+ years of dedicated BIM coordination experience within civil infrastructure, mass earthworks, and site development contexts.
• Strong skills in surface modeling, processing point cloud data, calculating earthwork volumes, and technical coordination.
