Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Bell 412 Simulator Instructor to join a premier aviation training team. This role involves delivering superior quality flight simulator instruction specifically for Bell 412 pilots, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and organizational training goals. The instructor plays a vital role in equipping pilots with the necessary skills for safe and efficient Bell 412 helicopter operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide ground school and simulator-based training sessions for Bell 412 pilots aligned with FAA, EASA, GCAA, and other relevant regulations.
- Teach normal, abnormal, and emergency flight procedures, detailed aircraft systems knowledge, and evaluate operational proficiency.
- Assess pilot trainee performance, offer constructive critiques, and manage all required training documentation accurately.
- Stay current with developments related to Bell 412 systems, procedures, and industry-standard best practices.
- Contribute to the development and ongoing enhancement of training curricula and instructional materials.
- Adhere strictly to the organization's Safety Management System and embody the highest levels of safety and professional standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of a valid Bell 412 Type Rating is preferred.
- Minimum total flight time of 1,000 hours, with extensive experience flying Bell 412 helicopters.
- Previous roles in flight or simulator instruction focusing on rotary-wing aircraft.
- EASA qualification is required.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills essential.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic training environment responsive to client needs.
