Role Overview

This full-time barista position at INTELLECT Coffee Roastery in Dubai involves preparing food and coffee, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining effective communication with customers. The role requires flexibility to travel and work across various Emirates due to events hosted throughout the UAE.

Core Responsibilities

• Prioritize customer service to ensure satisfaction and client retention.
• Support and actively participate in company events held at both public and private locations.
• Adhere strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for beverage preparation, menus, POS, cash handling, and catering services across different outlets including vehicles, kiosks, and trolleys.
• Deliver products as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and excellent presentation of bar areas, trolleys, and vehicles.
• Organize and manage stock levels efficiently.
• Respond to client inquiries and prepare drinks as ordered.
• Manage client database and engage previous clients for re-bookings.
• Actively promote newly launched products by the brand.
• Show passion and enthusiasm for the brand, promoting it to diverse clients.
• Participate in marketing and advertising initiatives for the company.
• Contribute to research and development for new drinks and menus.
• Keep abreast of industry trends to enhance skills and knowledge continuously.

Qualification and Skills

• Proficient barista with strong skills in drink preparation and latte art.
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office.
• Passionate about coffee and enthusiastic about sharing this passion with customers.
• Ability to work cooperatively as a team member and accept guidance and constructive feedback.
• Professional appearance with well-groomed presentation.
• Capable of performing under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of coffee equipment maintenance.
• Flexible with working hours to accommodate event schedules.
