Role Overview
The Banking Consultant position within ANZ Retail Banking plays a crucial role in delivering a smooth and satisfying banking journey for customers. This role involves addressing end-to-end financial needs, including transaction handling, conducting insightful needs-based conversations, and educating customers on available financial products and digital solutions. The consultant is proficient in completing customer transactions and accredited to fulfill product requirements. Operating predominantly in branch locations, the role demands delivering superior customer service aimed at nurturing customer satisfaction and loyalty. The consultant also acts as a peer coach within a collaborative team, exemplifying ANZ's customer commitment.
Working Hours and Location
- Location: 82 Woodlark Street, Lismore, New South Wales 2480
- Monday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (7 hours)
- Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (4 hours)
- Wednesday: Not scheduled
- Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:15 PM (7.25 hours)
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:15 PM (7.25 hours)
- Saturday & Sunday: Not scheduled
Key Responsibilities
- Drive increased customer engagement and foster advocacy while generating real value for customers.
- Support and actively participate in banking programs and initiatives.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of customers from a risk management standpoint.
- Comply with ANZ’s policies and procedures, including branch-specific guidelines.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Previous experience in retail banking or similar sector is advantageous.
- Proficiency and enthusiasm in using and promoting banking technologies.
- Familiarity with various digital banking channels is beneficial.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and adapt competently to change and ambiguity.
- Collaborative team player willing to contribute to a supportive work environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance requirements.
- Effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
