Role overview
Join UPS in a permanent part-time security role based at Stansted Air Gateway in Burton End, England. In this position, you will help protect people, aircraft, facilities, and cargo while supporting the safe and efficient movement of packages through a busy logistics environment.
This is a hands-on operational role where you will inspect and screen packages, use screening equipment and procedures, and work to meet strict compliance and turnaround expectations. The role combines security vigilance with smooth day-to-day operational support.
Pay and schedule
The role pays £13.00 per hour, plus a £2.86 premium shift allowance for hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00. The working pattern is Monday to Thursday from 19:00 to 22:30, and Friday from 19:15 to 22:45.
Key duties
You will be responsible for carrying out security screening activities, checking equipment each day, monitoring work areas, and escalating any quality or process concerns to the supervisor. The job also involves supporting the wider air cargo security network and helping maintain a strong security culture across the site.

Requirements
