Role Overview
The Automation Test Lead will oversee both manual and automation testing activities, guiding teams and strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables in Agile environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional, regression, system integration, and end-to-end testing efforts.
- Develop and implement the automation testing roadmap to enhance coverage and execution efficiency.
- Manage and mentor testing teams of 5-10 members within Agile/Scrum setups.
- Utilize hands-on experience with various automation testing frameworks and AI-assisted testing tools.
- Ensure comprehensive understanding and application of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and defect management processes.
- Coordinate testing activities utilizing tools like Selenium, Playwright, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Postman, and incorporate API and database testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Exemplify strong analytical skills, leadership capability, and effective communication throughout the testing lifecycle.
Required Skills and Technologies
- Proficiency in Selenium and Playwright for automation testing.
- Experience with JIRA and Azure DevOps for issue and workflow management.
- Hands-on skills in Postman and API testing methodologies.
- Competence in SQL and database validation.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of AI-driven testing tools.
Educational Qualification and Experience
Applicants must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization. Experience ranging from 6 to 10 years in testing roles is required.
