Audit Executive

About the Role

Teamspace Financial Services Private Limited is seeking an Internal Audit Executive Trainee to assist in various audit activities supporting NBFC/NBFS operations. This position aims to develop a solid foundation in audit processes, risk management, internal controls, and regulatory compliance while aligning with the company's Gender Diversity and Inclusive Hiring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support execution of scheduled internal audits according to approved audit plans.
• Review operational, financial, and compliance processes to identify potential gaps and areas for improvement.
• Conduct basic control testing and walkthroughs under supervision.
• Assist in monitoring adherence to RBI guidelines, internal policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain audit checklists, compliance trackers, and risk registers as part of risk monitoring.
• Help follow up on audit findings and track closure of observations.
• Prepare working papers, document audit evidence, and assist in drafting audit reports.
• Coordinate with various departmental teams such as Operations, Finance, Credit, IT, and Compliance for smooth audit execution and timely information collection.
• Engage in learning and development activities including training on NBFC/NBFS business processes, audit methodologies, and control frameworks, gradually taking on independent audit tasks under guidance.

Eligibility and Educational Qualifications

Candidates should be graduates in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.

• Monthly stipend totaling INR 13,500 from Ecofy plus an additional INR 1,500 under the Government DBT program.
