Role Overview
We are seeking an Associate Retirement Consultant to collaborate closely with Retirement Consultants, acting as the main daily contact for a client portfolio. Responsibilities include preparing detailed reports, participating in regular client meetings, and supporting the provision of expert advice tailored to client needs. This role offers hybrid working flexibility, combining virtual work with time in our Dublin office.

Key Responsibilities
- Support consultants in servicing and managing client portfolios according to established procedures.
- Forge strong relationships with consultants and clients to enhance service delivery.
- Progress toward independently managing your own client portfolio.
- Handle queries and requests from consultants, providers, and clients autonomously.
- Keep abreast of industry developments and assist with uncovering new revenue opportunities within existing client accounts.
- Actively engage in client-related projects as needed.
- Communicate clearly and effectively at all client organizational levels to maintain and grow relationships.
- Participate in client meetings, contributing valuable insights.
- Assist in preparing and occasionally delivering member presentation materials.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, business, and professional standards.
- Analyze information to recommend work approaches and review standard reports.
- Identify and communicate cross-selling opportunities across actuarial, investment, and other Aon business areas in Ireland.
- Contribute to the Consultants Priorities Group by helping implement systems that enhance client management efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of three years' experience in financial or professional services.
- Defined Contribution pensions experience is preferred.
- Working towards or holding QFA or IIPM professional qualifications, including relevant CPD and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to manage client service delivery successfully.
- Experience juggling multiple stakeholders and delivering high-quality outputs on schedule.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities, capable of managing concurrent projects.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Awareness of company-wide capabilities to align client needs effectively.
- Highly self-motivated and proactive approach.
- Committed to contributing positively to team success.
- Effective problem-solving and analytical skills for anticipating future challenges.
- Strong prioritization and planning aptitude to perform under pressure.
- Confident in managing client queries and expectations professionally.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
