Associate Product Manager, Delivery

Overview

Future Demand seeks an Associate Product Delivery Manager to translate the team's product priorities into structured, actionable work for engineering and design units. Collaborating closely with the Product Lead, this role involves defining new features, organizing upcoming assignments, managing coordination among teams, and monitoring sprint progress to ensure seamless development cycles. Key Responsibilities

• Draft detailed feature scopes, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria under Product Lead guidance.
• Maintain and organize the product backlog effectively.
• Prepare features and tasks for refinement sessions and sprint planning.
• Coordinate requirements and clarify open questions across product, engineering, and design teams.
• Monitor sprint status, delivery timelines, dependencies, and obstacles.
• Communicate progress and updates to team members and stakeholders.
• Facilitate planning, refinement, review, and other product delivery meetings.
• Document product requirements, decisions made, and any changes.
• Collect necessary information to support prioritization discussions.
• Offer recommendations while the Product Lead retains final prioritization decisions.
• Work on enhancing the team's product development and delivery workflows.
• Assume greater product ownership as experience grows.

Candidate Profile

• Between 1 and 3 years of relevant experience in product management, project coordination, business analysis, software delivery, design, QA, or related fields. Internships or working-student experiences are also considered.
• Experience collaborating with software engineering, design, or cross-functional teams.
• Ability to convert discussions and ideas into clear, written requirements and actionable tasks.
• Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proactive in following up on pending questions, dependencies, and commitments.
• A keen interest in users, technology, and the digital product development process.
• A collaborative approach with eagerness to ask questions and learn.
• Basic exposure to agile product development and familiarity with tools like Jira, Linear, Notion, or Confluence.

Desirable Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Experience in authoring user stories or acceptance criteria.
• Understanding of sprint planning, backlog refinement, or release procedures.
• Technical curiosity about APIs, data flows, system dependencies, and implementation trade-offs.
• Experience working within startups, scale-ups, or rapidly evolving environments.
