Role Overview
This position invites individuals driven by results and passionate about leading and managing projects. Located in Singapore, the Assistant Project Manager is tasked with ensuring timely project completion, operational excellence, and consistent alignment among stakeholders. The role emphasizes disciplined execution, early risk identification, active customer communication, and accurate revenue forecasting in accordance with global project management office (PMO) standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project kick-off activities, facilitating smooth handoffs from sales and directing both internal and client kickoff meetings.
- Monitor and reassess project scopes, determine potential risks, and design risk mitigation plans to guarantee project success from the initiation phase.
- Manage projects throughout all stages following Emerson's global PMO procedures, encompassing scheduling, milestone assessments, risk control, and change management.
- Deliver projects punctually with a reliability standard (RDSL) exceeding 95%, while upholding rigorous quality and compliance benchmarks.
- Maintain precise sales recognition forecasts targeting at least 95% accuracy and ensure they are congruent with overall project timelines.
- Efficiently manage finished goods inventory to meet sales and inventory goals, emphasizing accuracy and accountability.
- Foster strong customer rapport through regular, transparent, and proactive interaction.
- Handle change requests diligently, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and balancing cost, project timelines, and customer expectations.
- Submit all project-related documentation accurately and promptly as per PMO governance and Vendor Data Requirements List regulations.
- Collaborate extensively with diverse teams to anticipate risks, solve challenges, and secure positive project outcomes.
- Lead closure procedures including final documentation, invoice milestones, and seamless transfer to service departments.
- Provide data-supported reports on project performance to assist informed decision making.
- Promote continuous process improvements via lessons learned and integration of best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Between 5 and 10 years of project management experience within the process management sector.

- Demonstrated ability in stakeholder engagement, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
- Strong financial skills related to budgeting and cost control.
- Proven experience in project sales recognition forecasting and strategic planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational capabilities, and time management.
Preferred Attributes
- Certification such as PMP or comparable project management qualifications.
- Familiarity with process instrumentation or analogous technologies.
- Experience operating within global PMO frameworks featuring structured governance.
- Track record of successfully managing complex, cross-departmental projects with significant impact.
