Role Overview
Acquara Management Consultant ADGM is hiring an Assistant Manager for Business Development in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a mid-level, full-time position for a professional with 5 to 7 years of business development experience in Abu Dhabi.
What You Will Do
- Plan and execute sales activities end to end, starting from lead and pipeline creation through to deal closure, with a focus on financial and tax-related services.
- Study the market to find potential customers and understand what services they are looking for.
- Develop proposals and deliver company presentations to win new clients.
- Negotiate and complete contracts as well as service level agreements with prospective clients.
- Track contract renewals closely to support recurring business.
- Maintain regular contact with clients to identify new opportunities and gather feedback on ongoing work.
- Build strong relationships across client organizations, including senior leaders such as CEOs and CFOs, and collaborate effectively with internal teams to meet business targets.
- Create and implement strategies that improve revenue, expand market presence, and deliver suitable business solutions to clients.
Required Background
Candidates should have 5 to 7 years of experience in business development in Abu Dhabi, UAE, preferably within financial services or consulting. An MBA in Finance and Marketing from a reputed B-school is required.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Hands-on business development experience in financial services or consulting
- Ability to engage confidently with senior executives
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Presentation and proposal development skills
- Effective networking and relationship-building ability
- Understanding of finance-related functions such as corporate tax
