Assistant Manager - Brewing

Join a globally renowned company with over 500 iconic brands in more than 100 countries. AB InBev India is seeking an Assistant Manager - Brewing for its Supply team based in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. This role focuses on leading brewing construction projects with accountability for engineering, quality, schedule, and cost management to ensure successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of brewing system projects, covering planning, engineering design, construction, and commissioning, conforming to specifications, scope, budgets, and timelines.
• Coordinate effectively across various functions including engineering disciplines, operations, transition teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver cohesive project layouts and flawless execution.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, zone engineering teams, and regulatory bodies during design reviews, approvals, and construction coordination.
• Oversee contractor qualification processes, evaluate technical bids, develop contractors, monitor performance, and manage contracts related to construction activities.
• Drive adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards by leading safety initiatives, conducting risk assessments, managing contractor safety, administering work permits, investigating incidents, and fostering continuous improvements.
• Manage project scope, budgets, schedules, forecasts, procurement, changes, milestones, recovery plans, and reporting to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
• Support operational readiness and successful start-up by facilitating commissioning tasks such as maintenance planning, spare parts strategy, SOP development, training, snag list closure, and start-up preparations.
• Develop and manage team performance by building capabilities, delegating responsibilities, conducting evaluations, and motivating staff to achieve excellence.
• Implement quality assurance and control programs including inspections, testing, material validations, non-conformance resolutions, document control, and audits.
• Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with company values of safety, ethics, teamwork, efficiency, and sustainable business outcomes.
