Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Asset Analyst to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This role offers flexibility with the possibility of remote work from anywhere in Australia, ideally near a CHL office. The position focuses on leveraging asset, maintenance, and contractor data to derive actionable insights that enhance portfolio performance, investment decisions, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex asset, maintenance, and contractor datasets to uncover trends, risks, and performance enhancement opportunities.
- Generate evidence-based insights to guide maintenance scheduling, capital investment, and portfolio optimization.
- Develop and improve interactive dashboards and visual reports using Power BI or similar tools to monitor asset performance, maintenance activities, and compliance.
- Support lifecycle planning through analysis of asset conditions, utilization, and forecasting of performance.
- Design frameworks for contractor performance reporting and benchmarking to promote accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Assets, Maintenance, Finance, Procurement, IT, and system vendors to enhance asset management systems and reporting capacities.
- Advocate for high standards in data quality, governance, and consistency across all asset and maintenance information systems.
- Assist initiatives aimed at advancing asset management maturity, sustainability, and cost-effective service delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience analyzing detailed asset, infrastructure, or maintenance datasets.
- Solid understanding of asset lifecycle modeling, condition assessment, and performance reporting.
- Advanced proficiency with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Familiarity with asset management systems, maintenance software, and asset registers.
- Knowledge of asset management principles including lifecycle planning, risk assessment, compliance, and decision-making frameworks.
- Experience promoting data governance, enhancing reporting processes, and driving system improvements.
- Excellent communication skills with the capability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to ongoing improvement.
- Background or experience in community housing, social housing, property management, facilities, or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
