Role Overview

Step up your career by joining Australia’s largest single provider in the Apprentice Connect division as an Assessment Services Consultant based in Southport. This crucial position involves partnering closely with employers and apprentices to facilitate a successful apprenticeship journey from the outset through comprehensive pre-commencement evaluations and clear communication of essential processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct video-based get-ready assessments with Australian apprentices to evaluate their readiness.
• Establish rapport, practice attentive listening, and ask insightful follow-up questions to fully understand each apprentice's unique circumstances and identify any obstacles that might affect their success.
• Provide outstanding customer support across multiple channels including video, telephone, and digital platforms, ensuring prompt and precise assistance.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to guarantee a smooth and cohesive customer experience.
• Keep thorough and compliant records of assessments and client data aligned with quality standards.
• Consistently meet quality and productivity benchmarks by efficiently managing assessment caseloads, conversation durations, and client outcomes.

Candidate Profile

• A proactive, adaptable individual passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
• Experience in customer service, administration, recruitment, or employment services is preferred.
• Confident communicator via video and phone skilled at quickly building trust and rapport.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to pose thoughtful follow-up questions within structured assessment frameworks.
• Capable of applying guidelines judiciously to identify and escalate any potential challenges during assessments.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve targets and key performance indicators consistently.
• Attention to detail with proven accuracy and efficiency in data entry.
• High level of computer proficiency across diverse software applications.
