Role Overview

Dyno Nobel Limited invites applications for the position of Emulsion Plant Operator at our Kalgoorlie facility in Western Australia, operating on a 5/2 roster. This opportunity allows you to work alongside a supportive, like-minded team in a well-established mining explosives company.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate and control key equipment in the emulsion production process, including reactors, prill towers, and granulators to ensure efficient operations.
• Continuously monitor and adjust production parameters like temperature, pressure, and flow rates to maintain optimal conditions.
• Perform quality checks and tests on ammonium nitrate products to meet quality standards, making adjustments as required.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols while conducting safety inspections and managing potential hazards in line with environmental and safety legislation.
• Manage inventory by tracking raw materials and finished product stocks to meet production targets.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant is capable of working independently while supporting system compliance and improvements. Being a proactive team player with a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and achieving outcomes is essential. Candidates must hold a forklift license, national police clearance, a valid driver's license, and preferably a dangerous goods security card. Computer literacy, strong problem-solving abilities, and a leadership mindset toward health, safety, and environment responsibilities are important.
