Al Maha Hostess | Lounge

Overview

This role based at Hamad International Airport in Doha focuses on delivering exceptional service across all assigned areas within the Al Maha unit. The position supports the Senior Hostess by providing operational assistance and inspiring team members with a positive, can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily operations according to Standard Operating Procedures for all aspects of Al Maha Services to ensure smooth customer experiences without any operational shortcomings.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders such as Immigration, Qatar Aviation Services, Airlines, Al Maha Sales, Concierge, Hotels, and other representatives to support seamless processing of customer requests.
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of Al Maha Services and the wider Qatar Airways Group offerings including Frequent Flyer Program entitlements, lounge access policies, and airport tours to assist with a broad spectrum of customer inquiries.
• Provide assistance and cover duties of the Senior Hostess to maintain optimal service levels throughout operational shifts.
• Perform tasks related to Fast Track Services, baggage assistance such as buggies and porters, flight monitoring, meet and assist services, and reception tasks as assigned.
• Ensure clear and effective communication among colleagues and various operational areas.

Qualifications

• Preferred high school diploma; formal education in hospitality or service-related fields is considered an advantage.
• At least two years of relevant experience, ideally within a premium hospitality or customer service setting.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to motivate peers.
• Preferred proficiency in English with solid business communication skills and sensitivity to multicultural environments.
