About the Role
The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), responsible for fostering sustainable growth in Abu Dhabi’s culture and tourism industries, is seeking an AI Transformation Manager for a 12-month contract. This position plays a vital role in an ambitious transformation program aimed at positioning the organization as an AI-first workplace. The AI Transformation Manager will lead the development and implementation of AI-enabled processes, tools, and workflows to enhance productivity, quality, decision-making, and operational efficiency across the institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert organizational and departmental strategies into actionable AI-driven workflows and tools.
- Identify impactful AI use cases across various departments and teams.
- Design operating models incorporating AI-enabled automation.
- Integrate AI solutions into daily business operations to boost efficiency and quality.
- Establish governance frameworks ensuring responsible, secure, and effective AI deployment.
- Create, maintain, and scale AI-based workflows, automations, and knowledge management systems.
- Deploy AI-assisted processes using approved enterprise AI platforms.
- Develop reusable AI components such as prompts, templates, agents, copilots, and automation frameworks.
- Incorporate AI features into reporting, data analysis, presentations, document reviews, and operational workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security protocols, and regulatory standards.
- Optimize AI workflows based on user feedback and performance data.
- Support organization-wide AI transformation through structured adoption and implementation programs.
- Drive AI usage across teams, defining procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Conduct assessments to identify additional AI integration opportunities and track adoption metrics, productivity improvements, and business outcomes.
- Oversee the governance and continuous improvement of AI tools and initiatives.
- Design and deliver AI training programs, workshops, and onboarding tailored to enhance team capabilities and understanding.
- Develop user support materials including guides, playbooks, and prompt libraries.
- Coach leadership and teams on effective AI adoption and workflow integration.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and responsible AI use.
- Serve as the primary AI support contact within the organization.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in AI implementation, digital transformation, automation, enterprise technology consulting, or similar transformation roles.
- Background from prestigious consulting firms, leading tech companies, or enterprise transformation functions.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into realistic AI-enabled solutions with measurable outcomes.
- Experience operating within regulated, governed, or enterprise tech environments.
- Skilled in setting measurable objectives, driving project execution, and delivering tangible business impact.
- Strong expertise in AI tools, workflow automation, and enterprise process design.
- Excellent skills in identifying AI use cases and converting them into feasible implementation plans.
- Advanced structured thinking, problem-solving, and business process redesign capabilities.
- Effective stakeholder management across technical and business domains.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous, and highly regulated settings.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and training abilities.
- Proactive, practical approach focused on results and outcomes.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on involvement with enterprise AI deployments and automation workflows.
- Experience fostering AI adoption across various business units.
- Development of AI copilots, agents, prompts, templates, and automation frameworks.
- Participation in change management and digital transformation efforts.

- Understanding of AI governance, security, compliance, and ethical frameworks.
- Familiarity with platforms like Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, OpenAI APIs, or similar AI ecosystems is highly desirable.
