Al Rostamani Trading Company is the exclusive authorised distributor of Suzuki and Citroën vehicles in the UAE, providing sales, service, and parts across the country.

Job Purpose

This role involves performing general accounting duties within the department, such as processing invoices, managing payments, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation with operational data. The role also includes acting as a cashier replacement within the workshop department.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage payments to various suppliers.
• Reconcile supplier ledgers with statements and payment records.
• Support advances to suppliers and assist in recording their invoices and ledger updates.
• Participate in managing bank guarantees and letters of credit.
• Contribute to month-end closing journal entries.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors by providing requested information and documentation.
• Generate various management information system (MIS) reports such as fortnightly bank balances and facilities reports.
• Handle cash transactions ensuring adherence to proper procedures and documentation.
• Prepare payroll activities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year serving in a cashier role preferably in the same industry.
