Key Responsibilities

• Manage and expand your portfolio by actively pursuing and acquiring new business opportunities.
• Oversee renewal and new business workflows, utilizing strong communication skills to interact with clients and prospects effectively.
• Discuss renewal terms candidly with clients and explore alternative options by liaising with brokers to secure competitive terms suited to client needs.
• Engage in client meetings when appropriate, leveraging interpersonal skills to strengthen relationships.
• Evaluate account inquiries and credit control issues, resolving them promptly and escalating concerns to relevant teams.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in a similar insurance account handling role is essential.
• Robust understanding of general insurance products and various classes of insurance.
• Familiarity with the client market and significant insurance industry entities such as the London Market and Lloyds.
• Possession of or progress towards Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications (Dip CII or Cert CII preferred), with support provided for further accreditation.
• Meticulous in administration and policy processing with high attention to detail.
• Strong client service orientation, ensuring customer needs remain the priority.
• Proven ability to generate new business through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication across multiple channels, including phone, email, and face-to-face interaction.
• Comfortable dealing with uncertainty while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Driven to continuously expand industry expertise and seek personal development.
• Authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
