2nd Shift General Cleaner

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and dependable General Cleaner for the 2nd Shift at an educational facility in Hahira, GA. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM. This role demands a hardworking individual who consistently goes the extra mile, maintains politeness, and demonstrates reliability in their duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and cleaning various surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash efficiently.
• Maintain restrooms by supplying, cleaning, and servicing them regularly.
• Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing agents as per instructions.
• Handle the movement of heavy equipment, furniture, or other large objects safely.
• Identify and report maintenance issues requiring repairs.
• Engage in floor-related work such as steam cleaning carpets, applying wax, and buffing when necessary.
• Carry out any additional cleaning assignments as directed.

• Possess physical endurance and dexterity to perform cleaning tasks effectively.
• Recognize safety hazards and communicate promptly with relevant personnel.
• Have reliable transportation for commuting purposes.
• Ability to adhere to schedules and honor commitments consistently.
