About the Internship

Energy Alternatives India (EAI), a pioneer research and consultancy firm specializing in renewable energy and clean technology, invites applications for its strategy consulting internship focused on sustainability and climate tech. Founded by IIT and IIM alumni and headquartered in Chennai, EAI has been instrumental since 2008 in delivering consulting services across multiple climate technology sectors including solar, wind, biofuels, electric vehicles, and more. The firm also collaborates on significant climate initiatives like the CLIMAFIX Summit and the Clidemy platform.

Internship Responsibilities

Interns will contribute directly to strategic projects alongside senior consultants, engaging with senior leaders of prominent Indian and international companies. The role involves understanding major trends and challenges in climate technology, assisting in market assessments and strategy development, conducting comprehensive primary and secondary research, and supporting the preparation of reports and presentations for clients.

Candidate Requirements

• Availability for full-time, in-office internship starting between July 30, 2026 and September 3, 2026, for a 2-month period
• Relevant skills and a keen interest in sustainability and climate technologies
• Civil Engineering students are encouraged to apply
• Comfort in collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, from CEOs to farmers
• Strong capability in both qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Adaptability to dynamic and flexible work environments and company culture

Compensation and Perks

The internship offers a stipend ranging from INR 15,000 to 20,000 per month. Additional benefits include a certificate of completion, a letter of recommendation, and a relaxed dress code.
