Internship Overview
This internship provides an opportunity to engage directly with buy-side leads to understand their investment preferences and financial capabilities. The role includes conducting credibility checks, maintaining detailed records, verifying AI-generated data, and supporting market research activities to aid M&A and fundraising initiatives. You will work closely with senior team members to enhance data quality and streamline the onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with incoming potential investors via email, phone calls, and CRM systems to gather information on their investment goals and sector interests.
- Perform preliminary background verification on buyers by evaluating their profiles, transaction histories, and digital presence, identifying any concerns.
- Accurately document all buyer interactions, updates, and notes within internal systems.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and relevance of AI-generated data before it is used for internal purposes.
- Conduct research on industries and sectors, analyzing market size, trends, and critical growth factors.
- Create competitive landscape summaries outlining key market participants, their business models, and positioning.
- Assist in producing internal reports, teasers, and informational notes related to mergers and acquisitions and fundraising discussions.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues to continuously improve the data quality, client qualification processes, and overall operational efficiency.
Candidate Eligibility and Requirements
- Must be able to commit to a full-time, in-office internship in Ahmedabad for a period of four months starting between July 15, 2026, and August 19, 2026.
- Applicants should hold relevant skills and interests related to the role; female candidates seeking to begin or resume their careers are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Preference given to candidates pursuing Engineering, MBA, CA, or CFA qualifications.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranges from INR 13,500 to INR 22,000, comprising a fixed component of INR 12,000 and performance-based incentives between INR 1,500 and INR 10,000.
