Xen-server Hypervisor Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Xen-server hypervisor specialist to join our team in Kolkata. The role involves in-depth involvement with Citrix infrastructure technologies including XenServer, XenApp, and XenDesktop. Candidates should have strong expertise in design, implementation, and troubleshooting within these domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting Citrix environments involving XenServer, XenApp, and XenDesktop technologies.
• Planning and executing Citrix upgrades and farm migrations, covering legacy (XenApp 6.5, 7.x; XenDesktop 5, 7.x) and latest versions including Long Term Service Release (LTSR) editions.
• Managing patch deployment and configuring policies within Citrix environments.
• Handling Citrix license management and renewal processes.
• Providing support for Citrix NetScaler appliances.
• Deploying and administrating Citrix Provisioning Services and Machine Creation Services (MCS).
• Applying knowledge of App Layering techniques.
• Implementing and managing Citrix delivery groups, catalogs, HDX policies, virtual desktop infrastructures (VDIs), and application deployment through Citrix Studio.
• Understanding various Citrix products such as Access Gateway, Password Manager, Secure Gateway, and Web Interface.
• Working with integrated technologies including AppSense and App-V, especially in policy configuration and application packaging.
• Possessing fundamental knowledge of hypervisors, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
